SOUTHEAST TEXAS CO-OP MISSION
Welcome

Our staff members are experts in their fields who promote student success through communication, evaluations, training, and on-going campus and parental support while implementing best practice.
Overview
The programs of Southeast Texas Cooperative for Special Services are founded upon the belief that all children are capable of learning and being successful in school experiences which are designed to develop academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and independence skills for active participation in their community. The comprehensive special education program offered by the Southeast Texas Cooperative provides services for students ages 3 through 22 who have been identified as disabled These disabilities may include students who have: physically challenges, visually or auditorially impairments, an intellectual, emotional, language or learning disability, a speech/language impairment, or other health impairments. Students who meet special education eligibility criteria as specified in federal and state regulations receive an individualized educational plan. Certified special education teachers, support personnel, administrators work together with the parent to develop an appropriate educational program for the student. The services are child-centered and designed to address individual student's learning needs. Students with disabilities have a wide range of individual needs; therefore, a continuum of program supports are available. The continuum of services include: inclusion, resource, content mastery, self-contained instruction, life skills, related services, vision instruction, homebound instruction and adaptive transportation.

SchoolBlocks offers a unique and powerful personalized search system. A member of the public, searching for "homework" might see an announcement from the school as the first result. However, if the user is logged in, they would see their teacher’s latest homework assignment as the top result.
